It is with great pleasure that the Experimental Anatomy Research Group (EXAN) invites you to their upcoming anatomy course on the ankle and knee joints. This two-day course will take place at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel Health Campus in Jette on Friday afternoon, 17th and Saterday morning, 18st of November 2023. The venue promises to provide a unique opportunity for attendees to gain in-depth anatomical knowledge and gain valuable insights on the subject. Whether you are a seasoned orthopedic surgeon, a resident, a physical therapist or a biomedical engineer, this course is open to anyone who wants to enrich their anatomical understanding and skills.
The course futures live dissections of the ankle and knee which will be performed by renowned dissection experts. You as an attendee will have the unique opportunity to observe and learn from these dissections, gaining valuable insights in these joints. Furthermore, the venue will feature interactive sessions where attendees can expIore predissected specimens. These sessions are led by experienced anatomists who will be available to provide guidance as needed. In addition to live dissections, the course features a series of lectures by distinguished speakers who are experts in the field of the ankle and/or knee joint. These lectures will cover a range of subjects, including the latest research findings, surgical techniques and rehabilitation strategies.
Dinner is included on day one of the venue. We hope this will serve as a great occasion to connect with fellow professionals, share experiences and exchanges ideas. On day two, breakfast and lunch will be provided.
