Biography
Andrei Sokolov is a physiotherapist and IFOMPT-recognized manual therapy specialist with two master's degrees in Physiotherapy and Manual Therapy. Following his postgraduate training, he joined Vrije Universiteit Brussel as a researcher, focusing on the thoracic spine, which became the focus of his PhD research in 2026.
In addition to his academic activities, Andrei is clinically active in the assessment and rehabilitation of neuromusculoskeletal disorders. He also serves as a clinical supervisor for final-year physiotherapy students.
Drawing on his clinical expertise and academic background, Andrei combines active treatment, manual therapy, and evidence-based practice to optimize patient outcomes.
