

Luca Buzzatti
Biography
Luca Buzzatti received his bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2011 at the at the “Universitá Politecnica delle Marche” (Italy). While working as clinician, he completed his Master in “Rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal disorders” at the Genova University (2014). In 2015, he started working as a junior and later on as senior musculoskeletal specialist in the UK for Allied Health Professional Suffolk. He has been a PhD researcher in Rehabilitation Science and Physiotherapy since 2017 working at the KARMA-project. His research explores applications of dynamic computed tomography (4DCT) for musculoskeletal pathologies using imaging processing techniques and kinematic analysis. His specific focus is on knee kinematics estimated by 4DCT in both healthy subjects and patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome. He is first authors and co-author of several peer review articles and member of the International Society of Biomechanics and International Society of Electromyography and Kinesiology.
